If you, or a child you know is interested in being part of our Big Brothers Big Sisters UK community, please check if we are working in your area.
Find my BBBSWe match our Bigs with a child aged between 7-12 years. With support and training our Bigs are building a positive, stable and caring relationship with our Littles.
Our Littles are referred to the local BBBS agency via their local authority, or statutory agency, or sometimes even their school.
Our Bigs are DBS checked, undergo safeguarding training, and all our Littles have a social services link worker. Our Bigs are proving to be an effective part of the team supporting the Little, along with parents/carers, teachers, social workers and other agencies.
Not only will our Bigs support Littles with everyday activities, but they are consistent, dependable and a positive presence for as long as the child wants.
Paula and I have done so many amazing things together, including ice skating, going to the park and crafting when I was younger and swimming, reading and more crafting now that I am older.
